CorpNavi

CorpNavi is QueryPie’s financial data platform for accessing disclosures, financial statements, stock prices, and investor relations materials for Japanese listed companies. Connect the CorpNavi MCP to use this information directly in chat or with an agent. CorpNavi is also planned to be available as a standalone app.

Company information is based on official data from the Financial Services Agency’s EDINET and the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s TDnet. CorpNavi provides financial statements, stock prices, and investor relations materials when the information is available from these sources. If the official sources contain no relevant data, it may not provide an answer even when the company exists.

What you can do

  • Find companies by EDINET company code, securities code, or Japanese or English name
  • Look up financial results and forecasts
  • View daily open, high, low, and close prices (OHLC), trading volume, and turnover
  • Check dividends, share buybacks and cancellations, and shareholder return targets
  • Read disclosures and generate summaries of investor relations materials
  • Fill an Excel workbook with data and save the result to My Drive

Excel tools

fill_excel

Fill the Excel workbook you attach with data. The original file is not overwritten; a copy of the result is saved to My Drive.

check_excel_fill

Check the status of an Excel job you started and the completed file’s delivery information in My Drive.

Working with Excel

When you fill an Excel workbook, the original remains unchanged and a copy of the result is saved to My Drive. To find and read that result from My Drive later, enable the My Drive MCP for the agent as well.

Filling a workbook can take time and runs asynchronously. To help the agent keep checking until the job finishes, we recommend adding the following instructions to its prompt:

  1. Before calling fill_excel, use the available My Drive MCP or built-in Drive capability to preserve the original workbook, the exact work plan, and its manifest at the path specified by the selected capability. Submit that same plan, and keep the returned Drive references and jobId.
  2. Call check_excel_fill with the same jobId. If the job is queued or running, use the tool’s bounded wait and check again if it is still in progress.
  3. Treat awaiting_delivery as an intermediate state. Complete delivery only if the MCP provides a fresh upload capability in the current call.
  4. Report completion only after the job is succeeded and the My Drive result information has been verified.
  5. If the job is failed or expired, explain the reason and whether it can be retried in the user’s language. Do not say that a workbook was produced.

Example requests

  • “Find the EDINET company code for [company name].”
  • “Show this company’s consolidated results for the fiscal year ending March 2026 and the year-over-year change.”
  • “Show the daily closing prices and trading volume from April through June 2025.”
  • “Summarize recent dividends, share buyback plans, and shareholder return targets.”
  • “Read the latest earnings disclosure and summarize the factors behind the results and the outlook in Japanese.”
  • “Fill the attached Excel workbook and save the result to My Drive.”

For example, when you ask for a company’s recent results and outlook, the agent can use get_company_master to identify the company and get_financial_actuals and get_financial_forecasts to retrieve the figures. If you also need commentary, it can call summarize_company_ir_texts and combine the information supported by the sources in its answer.

Notes

  • A valid company may have no data in the official disclosures, so CorpNavi may not return an answer.
  • For Excel jobs, use both fill_excel and check_excel_fill.
