Updates

Aru notifies you when an update is available. Review the version and changes before installing.

Install an update

1. Open Settings → About and select Check for updates.
2. If an update is available, open the notice and review download progress. You can also use the update-available icon above Settings.
3. Follow the installation prompts after download.
4. After restart, confirm the version and workspace.

Do not repeat the action while a download is in progress. The operating system may request installation permission. Save edited files and stop active tasks and terminal commands before updating.

Current version and release notes

Check app information under Settings → About. See Aru release notes  for changes. If a feature differs from the manual, check both the app version and organization settings.

If an update fails

Select Settings → About → Export diagnostics to save diagnostic information. Before sharing it, check for account data and work material.

• Check failed: Check the network and retry.
• Download failed: Check the connection and use the offered retry.
• Installation canceled: Check whether an OS permission prompt was dismissed.
• App does not start: Launch it again and review any message.

If needed, use the download page . Delete app data or project folders only when you have confirmed that recovery requires it.
