Visualizations and diagrams
When you ask Aru for a chart or screen mockup, it may provide an interactive visualization directly in the conversation. You can also enlarge Mermaid diagrams that explain a flow or structure and save them as images.
Request an interactive visualization
Describe the source data, values to inspect, and controls you need.
Create a bar chart that compares the attached monthly sales by product. Let me change the month and product, and show the percentage change.
Create a screen mockup for this service’s sign-up flow. Let me use buttons to move through each step.

Use the controls in the visualization to change values, apply filters, or move between states. Select Expand visualization for a larger view. Use Visualization options → Copy as image to paste the current result into another document.
If the visualization includes a follow-up action, review the proposed message and select Send. It is sent to the same conversation, and you can cancel before sending.
Interactive visualizations display in Aru Desktop. Aru may be unable to load one when its file is missing, invalid, unsupported, or larger than 1 MB.
Enlarge a Mermaid diagram
Select Expand diagram on a Mermaid diagram in a response. In the expanded viewer, you can:
- Zoom in or out with the controls or reset the zoom percentage.
- Pan by dragging the background.
- Copy code to copy the Mermaid source.
- Download image to save the whole diagram as a PNG.
- Download SVG to save a scalable vector file.
The saved image contains the full diagram regardless of the current zoom or scroll position.
Use the result
Before using a copied or saved visualization in a report or presentation, verify its values, labels, and flow against the source. Ask for specific data or layout changes in the same conversation.
