Lingo MCP

Lingo MCP lets AI access Lingo calendars, meeting sessions, transcripts, summaries, sharing settings, and custom keywords. Combine it with other MCP integrations such as email, calendar, and Salesforce to handle meeting preparation and follow-up in one conversation or automation flow.

Lingo MCP works within the signed-in user’s Lingo permissions and organization scope. Only tools allowed by the organization administrator are available in AIP.

Before you start

You must have access to the same organization in QueryPie AIP and Lingo.
The Lingo MCP Integration must be enabled for your organization.

Connect Lingo MCP to AIP

Find Lingo MCP in QueryPie AIP’s MCP menu or in an Agent’s tool list.
Select Install and review the tool list. When using Lingo MCP in an Agent, select the tools the Agent needs.
To use it with other services, add calendar, email, Salesforce, or other MCP tools to the same Agent.
Select that Agent in AIP Chat.

Available tools

User and calendar

Tool	Description
`lingo_whoami`	Returns the currently signed-in Lingo user and organization.
`lingo_list_calendar_accounts`	Lists calendar accounts connected to Lingo and their status, including expired tokens or reconnection requirements.
`lingo_list_calendar_events`	Lists events from connected calendars and shows the interpreter bot reservation status for each event.
`lingo_sync_calendar`	Imports the latest events from the calendar provider into Lingo. Use it when a new, moved, or missing event does not appear.

Interpreter bot and sessions

Tool	Description
`lingo_schedule_meeting_bot`	Schedules the Lingo interpreter bot for a calendar event. Translation languages are required so the bot can record and translate the meeting.
`lingo_cancel_meeting_bot`	Removes a scheduled interpreter bot before the meeting starts.
`lingo_create_session`	Creates an in-person or remote session without a calendar event. Choose translation or transcription mode and optionally have the bot join immediately.
`lingo_get_session`	Returns a session’s title, start and end time, status, meeting type, mode, and meeting URL.
`lingo_search_sessions`	Searches sessions by title, date range, status, and meeting type, including sessions in progress.
`lingo_update_session`	Changes a session title or adds translation languages. Languages can only be added before the session starts.

Tool	Description
`lingo_get_transcript`	Reads a session transcript in chronological order, either in the original language or a selected translation language.
`lingo_generate_summary`	Generates a new summary for a completed session. You can specify the summary focus. This consumes organization credits.
`lingo_get_summary`	Reads a summary already stored for the session without writing data or consuming credits.
`lingo_get_session_sharing`	Checks whether a session is shared externally and returns its link, password, expiration date, and other sharing details.

Custom keywords

Tool	Description
`lingo_get_hotwords`	Lists the current user’s personal custom keywords.
`lingo_add_hotword`	Adds a proper noun or domain term and its spelling for each language.
`lingo_update_hotword`	Changes language-specific spellings for an existing custom keyword.

Use case 1: Schedule a meeting and email the participants

Use calendar and email MCP tools together with Lingo MCP to find or create an event, schedule the interpreter bot, and send the sharing link to participants.

Create a meeting or find an existing event with a calendar MCP.
Run lingo_sync_calendar to bring the latest event into Lingo.
Use lingo_list_calendar_events to confirm the event and its bot reservation status.
Schedule the bot and select translation languages with lingo_schedule_meeting_bot.
When the session is ready, use lingo_get_session_sharing to verify the sharing link and access requirements.
Send an email containing the schedule, languages, and sharing link with an email MCP.

Example request:

Find next Tuesday’s customer meeting and schedule the Lingo interpreter bot for Korean and English. When the sharing link is ready, draft an email with the meeting time and link for the participants. Show me the recipients and message for approval before sending.

If the sharing link has a password or expiration date, include the required access information. Verify recipients and the intended sharing scope before sending the link outside your organization.

Use case 2: Send a meeting summary to Salesforce

After a meeting ends, retrieve or generate a Lingo summary and add it to the relevant customer or opportunity record in Salesforce.

Find the completed customer meeting with lingo_search_sessions.
Check for an existing summary with lingo_get_summary.
If no summary exists or a different format is required, use lingo_generate_summary with a sales-focused instruction.
Use Salesforce MCP to find the related Account, Opportunity, or activity record.
Show the target record and proposed update to the user for confirmation.
After approval, write the summary, customer requirements, decisions, and next steps to Salesforce.
